Where’s my saved game?

Squish Cubes saves as you play. Tap RESUME on the menu to carry on where you left off. Your game is kept on your device and isn’t tied to an account, so it doesn’t sync between devices. It’s in your device’s backups, though, so restoring one (or setting up a new phone from one) brings it back. Deleting the game deletes it from the device.

How do hearts work?

You earn hearts by popping Rainbows: 1 for a triple that grows past Rainbow, 3 for a quad, and 5 for a line of five Rainbows (double for two lines at once). Spend them in the Village Shop on Break, Swap and Flip, up to 5 of each. You can also watch a video in the shop for 6 hearts, up to 5 times a game. Hoarding hearts brings more Twigs, so spend them!

Why did my hearts burn up?

You can hold 50 hearts at most. Hearts you earn past that burn up for 1,000 points each, so they’re never wasted. While your hearts are full, the shop’s video isn’t available.

How do I use a power-up?

Tap SWAP or FLIP, then a block, then a glowing spot beside it (Swap) or above or below it (Flip) to trade places. Tap BREAK, then hold a block down until it pops. A quick tap won’t break it. If you’re out of a power-up, its button opens the shop.

Do I have to watch ads?

No. Squish Cubes never puts an ad in front of you on its own. A video plays only when you tap WATCH in the shop, and you have to watch it to the end for the hearts. When the village runs out of room, you have no power-up to play, and a video is ready, the shop opens with the video lit up, in case you’d like hearts to keep going. Close the shop without watching or buying and the game ends. In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, AD CONSENT in the options changes the choice you made in Google’s consent form.

Saw an ad that isn’t right?

Every ad the game asks for is rated PG. If one isn’t right for the game, tap OPTIONS on the menu, then REPORT AN AD, and tell us what it showed and when it played.

How do I change the sound or turn off vibration?

Tap OPTIONS on the menu. It has sliders for the music and the sound effects, and buttons that turn all sound and haptics on and off. The speaker button at the top of the game mutes sound too.

How do I play the tutorial again?

Tap TUTORIAL on the menu any time.

Leaderboards and achievements

Sign in to Game Center (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play Games (Android) to post your best score and unlock achievements there. The trophy button on the menu shows the leaderboard and your achievements. Achievements you earn show there even while you’re signed out, and they’re sent once you sign in. On Android, tap SIGN IN on the trophies screen. On iPhone and iPad, Game Center asks when the game opens; if you closed it, sign in to Game Center in your device’s Settings, and the game will use it the next time it opens.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the game to remove everything it saved on your device. Your Game Center or Google Play Games data is managed in your Apple or Google account. For data Google’s video ads collected, Google’s privacy policy explains how to ask Google. Our privacy policy has the details.
