Privacy policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
Squish Cubes is a game by DreamFuel, LLC (“DreamFuel”, “we”). This policy explains what information the game handles, who else receives information through it, and the choices you have. It covers the Squish Cubes app for iPhone, iPad and Android.
The short version
Your game stays on your device
Your saved game, best score, achievements and settings stay on your phone or tablet. There’s no account, and none of it is sent to us.
Videos come from Google AdMob
They’re never personalized, they’re rated PG, and the game doesn’t send your advertising ID. Google still collects device information, such as your IP address, to deliver them.
Game Center and Play Games are optional
If you’re signed in, your scores and achievements go to Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
What the game keeps on your device
Squish Cubes saves a few things on your device so you can pick up where you left off: your saved game, your best score, the achievements you’ve unlocked, whether you’ve finished the tutorial, whether the game has told you why hearts burn up, and your sound, volume and haptics settings. There’s no account, and DreamFuel doesn’t receive any of it. Like other apps’ data, it’s included in your device’s own backups (iCloud or your computer for iPhone and iPad, Google’s backup for Android), which Apple and Google keep under your account, so restoring a backup brings your game back. Google’s ads software (below) also keeps your privacy choices, and the next video, on your device.
What we collect
Nothing from the game. DreamFuel doesn’t run servers for Squish Cubes, and the game doesn’t send us information about you or how you play.
We do see reports that don’t tell us who you are. Apple and Google show us totals such as downloads, and crash reports from people who’ve agreed in their device’s settings to share them with app developers. AdMob shows us how many videos were watched and what they earned. We use these to fix bugs and look after the game.
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, and we use them only to reply.
Video ads (Google AdMob)
Squish Cubes offers optional videos you can watch for extra hearts. They come from Google, through its AdMob service. The game asks for the same kind of ads for every player, whatever their age: it marks every ad request for child-directed treatment and limits ads to a PG rating (content suitable for most audiences, with parental guidance). So Google doesn’t personalize the ads or use them for remarketing, the ads are meant to suit most audiences, and the game never sends your device’s advertising identifier or asks to track you.
Google’s software starts when the game opens, so that a video is ready when you want one, which means it collects some information even if you never watch a video. According to Google, this can include:
- your IP address, and the rough location that comes from it
- identifiers other than your advertising identifier: ones limited to the app or its developer, such as Android’s app set ID and Apple’s identifier for vendors, and on Android, where they apply, ones related to accounts signed in on the device
- how you use the app and its ads, such as opening the game, taps, videos watched and the ads you’ve seen
- diagnostic information, such as crash logs, launch time and energy use
Google uses it to deliver and measure ads, for analytics and to prevent fraud, and it’s sent over encrypted connections. Google decides how it handles this information, as its privacy policy describes, and explains how it uses information from apps like this one.
Game Center and Google Play Games
If you’re signed in to Game Center (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play Games (Android), the game sends your scores and achievements there, so they appear on the leaderboard and in your profile, and it shows the leaderboard’s names and scores, yours among them. It doesn’t keep them or send them anywhere else. Apple and Google handle this information under their own privacy policies: Apple’s and Google’s. You can play without signing in.
Your choices
- In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland. Before the ads start, the game asks for your consent, in a form from Google. You can change your choice any time from the game’s options. A video pays the same hearts whatever you choose.
- Everywhere else. There’s no tracking or personalized advertising to turn off: the game doesn’t do either, for anyone.
- Everything at once. Deleting the game deletes everything it saved on your device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete information about you, to get a copy of it, to restrict or object to how it’s used, and to withdraw consent you’ve given. DreamFuel holds no information about you from the game, but we’re glad to help: email us. For information Google’s ads collected, Google’s privacy policy explains how to ask Google. For Game Center or Google Play Games, manage or delete your data in your Apple or Google account.
Because the game’s ads are never personalized, it doesn’t share information about you for targeted advertising (what some US state laws call “sharing” personal information).
In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland
DreamFuel is responsible for the game. Google and Apple are each responsible for the information they receive. We rely on:
- your consent for Google’s ads software to store and read information on your device to show and measure ads. You can withdraw it any time from the game’s options.
- our legitimate interests for the rest: keeping ads free of fraud, sending your scores to Game Center or Play Games once you’ve signed in, and answering your emails.
Google and Apple may handle information in the United States and other countries, under the safeguards their privacy policies describe. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
How long information is kept
What the game saves stays on your device until you delete the game or its data, and in your device’s backups until they’re replaced. We keep emails you send us only as long as we need them to help you. Google and Apple keep information as their own privacy policies describe.
Keeping information safe
The game sends us nothing, so the only information about you we could hold is an email you send us, which we keep private. The companies the game shares information with (Google and Apple) are bound by their agreements and their own privacy policies to protect it at least as well as this policy does, and each publishes how it does.
Children
Squish Cubes isn’t made for children under 13, but children may play it, so the game treats every player as one for ads: every ad request is child-directed and rated PG, with no personalized ads and no advertising identifier. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
